Amazon has ridden over the wave of Windows 8, right on time!

For the moment, the Google Search App is limited to Windows 9 devices only. Microsoft’s Windows RT cannot take any benefits from it. Probably the reason for this is the lock down functions in the browser for RT has kept away from offering an alternative of IE10 for those devices until now. Eventually, we may get to see an update that would be all-embracing.

Meanwhile Google has also been planning a Windows 8 Chrome browser version that is presently only available for the developers as a preview. The users who have recently bought the iPad 3 have been given a chance by Apple to replace their products if the products satisfy two conditions. Firstly, the products must have been bought in the last month and secondly they must not have considerable signs of wear and tear. The offer is however not valid for the customers who have bought their products before last month. How much effect the present launch of iPad 4 has on the launch of the Microsoft Surface tablet will be an interesting thing see in the coming few days.
